Cooperation with Freiburg Catholic University of Applied Sciences

In the frames of cooperation with Freiburg Catholic University of Applied Sciences a group of students headedby Prof. Anne Kellner visited Georgia from 12 till 18 of November 2017. Caritas Georgia Home Care team and students conducted joint visits to beneficiaries for the purpose of practice and exchange of experience.

During the visit Prof. A. Kellner met representatives of Caritas Georgia, Panaskerteli Community College and St. King Tamar Orthodox University.  During the meeting, with the Rector of the Orthodox University Prof. Archimandrite Adam, different issues of cooperation between the universities were discussed.

On November 17 the National Center for Education Quality Enhancement hosted the delegation of the Catholic University. Director of the Center Tamar Sanikidze and deputy director Tamar Makharashvili welcomed the students and underlined the importance of such contacts. Manager of the TVET Qualification Development Support Program Mr. Kakha Eradze and Prof. Anne Kellner made presentations on Vocational Education in Georgia and Germany.  German and Georgian students, which participated in this meeting had interaction on the issues of education and employment opportunities in their countries.
